I look at helping people with their fitness goals as helping them get more out of their lives. When I started at my first gym, the Golds Gym in Ft. Lauderdale, I just started helping everyone I saw working out. One of the veteran trainers took me under his wing, suggesting I get certified. I’m proud to say I was a certified trainer at 17 and I haven’t looked back since. I am passionate about helping people who want to help themselves achieve their wellness goals. By working together, I believe that I can improve on their efforts to help them meet their goals.
Brian has over 22 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. He had his start at Gold’s Gym, Ft. Lauderdale, FL at the age of 17. Brian has accumulated licenses with National Academy of Sports Medicine and The Fitness Institute in Florida with Dr. Anthony Abbott. He is currently certified with NASM, Nutrition, TRX Suspension Training, and Trigger Point Therapy.
Brian sees to it that BeGoode Fitness covers all areas of fitness including: body weight training, fat/weight loss, stretching core stabilization, postural correction exercises, natural movement patterns, muscular balance and cardiovascular peak performance. He actively studies Kinesiology, nutrition, and alternative medicine, Paleo, and gluten free methods to assist in achieving optimum health for all clients.
There are a couple of current clients whose success I would love to share. The first is a gentleman now in his 40s. Before we started working together, he had lead a very sedentary life. In the past ten months, he’s already dropped an incredible 60 pounds. He exercises 3 or 4 days a week, is more active now than in the past 20 years and looks like a totally different person.
I am also working with a wonderful lady in her 70s who has cerebral palsy. When we met she struggled to move off her couch. I am proud to say she can now do 10 squats and 10 pushups in a row and can even pull her own bodyweight up from the ground. It’s a thrill for me to see her make these tremendous changes in her life. Everyone has their own challenges; it makes me happy to help my clients overcome them.
Michelle graduated from The University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Exercise has always been a part of life. In high school, she started martial arts and holds a black belt in Sport Karate. Michelle started weightlifting in her senior year of college and enjoys learning new exercises and teaching people as well. In 2012, she was offered a job as a personal trainer. I found my passion in fitness and have never looked back. Working at different health club industries, I have experienced the transition from generalized one-size fits all workouts to extremely specialized training. I have trained clients ranging from age 16 to 80 years old.
Michelle trains people based off of their needs in order to help them reach their goals. She hopes to motivate her clients to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Training should be fun, challenging, and result driven. Personal training needs to be individualized and programmed based on both goals and trainer’s analysis. Every action (or inaction) has an effect on the body. Training should address how the body moves – as well as help the client reach their goals. Let me help you lose weight, gain strength, move, look, and feel better. Let’s enjoy every achievement – however small and great. I want to help you improve the quality of your life and help you become a better version of you.
