I am 71 and have had many trainers throughout my life and Brian is the best trainer I have ever had! He keeps me moving the entire session and is always careful to make sure that the exercises are age appropriate but challenging. I am always tired from a full work day before we begin, and then feel the best I have felt all day when we are through. Besides being competent, Brian is an extremely kind, caring, warm person who has a way of making you feel that you are his most important client. I would recommend Brian to anyone of any age who wants to improve their health and have fun at the same time.

I began working with Brian in October of 2013 (2 sessions per week) and I am continuing to work with him.
He also provides nutritional guidance if you are interested, and I took advantage of this. After determining what foods I liked, he put together sample menus.
As for my workouts–they are varied, and Brian keeps the hour sessions interesting. I always feel that he is tailoring my program of exercises to me and my specific concerns.
I should add that I loathe physical exercise, and really need someone right with me –encouraging and sometimes insisting that I can
push myself a little harder.
His rates are reasonable, and he seems to be able to adapt his training to a wide client age range.
Brian must be doing something right because I am still with him 11 months later.

I have been working with Brian for several months now. I am out of town a couple of weeks a month for work, so we work out twice a week when I am in town and Brian put together a travel workout for me to do in hotel gyms or even my hotel room when I am on the road. Even without getting in 3 workouts some weeks due to my schedule (not Brian’s), I have still lost more than 15 pounds, dropped two dress sizes, and strengthened and re-shaped my body. Brian’s method involves wearing a heart monitor to ensure that cardio levels can be accurately measured and safely pushed several times during a strength and conditioning workout. He uses sharing technology so we can both access a workout log with my current reps and weight levels, from our phones. I am really pleased with the changes in my body and my growing stamina, strength and flexibility.
Brian is flexible with appointment timing and very good about confirming/reminding an upcoming appt. He has been flexible within reason when I have had to change appts. on the day, which happened a couple of times due to sickness or business travel problems.
I have recommended him to my family and friends.

I needed a personal trainer to keep me in line and teach me how to do weight training as well as eat properly. I wanted to get stronger as well as lose some weight. I contacted him via email and cell, and he got back to me promptly.

Brian is great trainer who really takes an interest in your goals. I am still actively training with him and would like to continue into the future as long as I can. I was looking for someone who could provide nutrition help as well as weight training. I was pleasantly surprised that he also does what is called “trigger point therapy” for when you get tight knots in your muscles (which happens a lot to me), after which I immediately feel relief. He really is a well-rounded trainer who seems to do everything. He’s mostly on time and works with me at two locations (one in Gaithersburg and one in Rockville) to help me out depending on my schedule. He’s also flexible with time and making up sessions, which helps me out because I often have to work late with last minute notice.

I really enjoy my training sessions. I do a combination of cardio and weight training with a heart rate monitor (had to purchase my own). He changes them up and provides new workouts every few weeks to keep it interesting and challenging. As for payments, he generally likes you to pay two sessions in advance and gives you a discounted rate if you sign up for an allotted amount. If you’re going to do this, I highly recommend sticking with it for at least two months because you will gain a lot from him switching up the workouts.
My only minor critique is that he sometimes forgets what time you discussed meeting up (if you have to reschedule outside your normal time), but he’s good about reaching back out to you to confirm. Just keep track for yourself.
Overall, I would highly recommend Brian as a personal trainer.

Since then, and still today my son continues with Brian’s support to increase his expectations and reach for goals he never knew he could, all in a healthy safe way. Brian has also given my soon nutritional advice that my son has taken to heart, which has increased his stamina and made him more aware of a nutritional impact on his life. In addition although results are very important to Brian.

Brian is the first one to back him off an exercise if he feels it is not in my son’s best interest on that particular day. A big positive with Brian is that he has been flexible when he was able to be, to accommodate my son’s often challenging schedule. In return my son has been consistent with his appointments with Brian, so it has been a very positive experience, as my son is so motivated to keep up his end of the agreement. Thus the added benefit for me, is that my son has truly taken an adult role in this, and Brian has guided him through the process while respecting him at the same time. I know that will not be necessary for most clients, but I think it speaks to his character.
For the true strength and skill of Brian is that he can be there in whatever way is best for your individual needs.
